In a dynamic showcase of collaboration and shared commitment, Digital Learning Research Lab of Kathmandu University organized a meeting with different stakeholders on December 17, 2023. The gathering served as a platform to unveil the impactful findings achieved through one of the research projects of Lab, which has developed an online course useful for school leaders. The objective of this event was to disseminate the research findings and explore the ways to collaborate with multiple stakeholders present in the event. 

Dr. Sushil Shrestha, Country Lead of the project and also the Team Leader of Digital Learning Research Lab, welcomed the guests and briefly explain the motive behind organizing such event. Professor Freda, Wolfenden gave a short presentation about the project.

She is the Principal Investigator (PI) of this multinational project implemented in Nepal, Pakistan and Afghanistan refugees. Prof. Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel who is the National KIX Coordinator highlighted the importance of such research projects and appreciated the effort of the research team.

This project is funded under GPE KIX by IDRC and FITED. Mr. Pratit Raj Giri, presented the impact findings of the project to the audience. He was supported by Dr. Hari Pokharel, who worked as the community lead in this research project.

He highlighted the challenges faced during selection of head teachers and expressed the need of such project for the capacity building of head teachers. The event was highly interactive as the participants raised several queries throughout the event. 

Several attendees in this event were from government, different universities of Nepal, NGO/INGO working in the field of education, community representatives where the pilot testing was conducted, media and current and former member of parliament (MP).

Dr. Girwan Thapa, Director of CEHRD, who has collaborated with the research lab and integrated the course in the government format, highlighted the importance of such online course for the betterment of education quality in Nepal.

MP honorable Bidhya Bhattarai acknowledged the effort of the research team and expressed commitment to share the research output in the suitable platforms.
