Facebook and Instagram’s Parent Company Meta To Introduce 3D Advertisements Soon
As Meta Takes Another Step Towards Contributing to the Building of the Metaverse, Facebook and Instagram will have 3D advertisements.
The parent company of Facebook and Instagram has introduced three-dimensional (3D) advertising to its social media platforms, introducing a more dynamic manner of showing adverts.
The user may also be permitted to use AR technology while viewing these advertisements.
According to a press release issued by VNTANA on Thursday, the connection would allow marketers to submit 3D models of their items to social media platforms and instantly transform them into commercials.
According to VNTANA CEO Ashley Crowder, the move is a stepping stone towards advertising in the metaverse, which is a future concept of a collection of virtual worlds that can be accessed through various devices such as headsets.
For those who are unfamiliar, the metaverse is envisioned as an encompassing collection of virtual worlds that may be accessed simply by using a smartphone and a headset.
As of now, Meta’s concentration is on the creation of the metaverse, which will most likely take at least a decade to complete.
Previously, the company collaborated with augmented reality (AR) startups such as Modiface and PerfectCorp to help beauty and cosmetic brands operate their 3D and AR advertising.
