Bluebook of Vehicles

For the overall management of the transport sector, the Bagmati State Government issued and implemented the “State Vehicle and Transport Management Act, 2075.”

The “Service Flow and Revenue Payment Regulations, 2078” have also been published and implemented to administer the transport sector’s service flow and revenue payment system using electronic means following the terms of the same act.

Module for Tax Calculation. The Transport Management Information System (TMIS) was created and deployed in compliance with the “Service Flow of the Transport Sector and Revenue Payment Regulations, 2078” to operate the improved vehicle registration system included in the online payment system.

The service, which offers various payment services to its users, now has the facility to renew the Blue Book, ranging from paying car insurance. Follow the procedure below to renew the Blue Book.

  1. First, log in to the Transportation Management Information System (TMIS) at https://tmis.bagamati.gov.np/to update your vehicle details.

You can also go to “Vehicle Tax” through Nagarik App and file your vehicle details.

  1. After filing the vehicle details in this way, now go to “Third Party Insurance” in eSewa to submit the vehicle insurance. Complete the insurance submission process by filling in all the details here.
  2. After paying the insurance, now go to Bluebook Nawikaran (Sawaari Nabikaran) in eSewa to pay the Blue Book renewal fee and easily pay the renewal fee by filling in the details.

  1. Not showing my ride details. What to do

As your vehicle details have not been filed in TMIS yet, the details are not seen in eSewa. Please go to TMIS and submit the details. You can also update vehicle details from the Citizen app.

  1. I haven’t paid the car insurance, can I renew the Blue Book?

You can pay the  Blue Book renewal fee after taking third-party car insurance through Third Party Insurance in eSewa.

  1. How does my blue book look right or imprinted?

After renewing the Blue Book by submitting the car insurance, you have to reach your transport management office with the voucher paid within 30 days for the corrector stamp.

  1. Is there any additional charge for Blue Book renewal?

We would like to inform you that the additional fee for Blue Book renewal will be as per the instructions of Nepal Rastra Bank.

  1. Is this service available in other places except for  Bagmati Pradesh?

We would like to inform you that this service has been started from Bagmati province at present and will be extended to other provinces shortly.

  1. Why do you have to go to the office to make an impression while playing online?  

In the future, the whole process will be online, as the complete system is in the process of currently having to go to the transport office for sealing work, shortly this process will be all online.
