Facebook collects revenue of 13.5 Billion within 3 months

Facebook- the most significant social networking media has informed that it collected the revenue of US$ 13.5 billion in the third quarter of 2018 following the net profit of $5.1 billion.

Reportedly, the monthly active users of Facebook reached 2.27 billion — an increase of 10 percent year-over-year. Similarly, the number of daily active users reached 1.49 billion — an increase of nine percent.

Regarding regional and growth, Facebook has achieved the highest growth rate of 38% in the Asia Pacific, followed by Europe (34 percent) and North America (33 percent).

“At present we have more than 2 billion people use at least one of our services every day”, informed Mark Zuckerberg, Founder, and CEO at Facebook.

Facebook is providing excellent service in private messaging and storage. Also, it is also providing enough opportunities in videos and commercial areas, added Zuckerberg.

According to Facebook, there are around 2.6 billion people, who use Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, and messenger each month, and more than 2 billion people use at least one of services every day on average from these platforms.

Facebook at present has 33,606 workforces.

As per the report, from last few time back the Facebook users in India, Indonesia, and the Philippines has increased surprisingly.

Reportedly, Facebook collected $12.5 billion mobile ad revenue and represented approximately 92 percent of total ad revenue.

Facebook anticipates total revenue growth rate in the fourth quarter will decrease by a mid to high single digit percentage compared to the third quarter total revenue growth rate.

Recently Facebook suffered from the data breach. The company announced that cyber attackers’ stolen data from 29 million Facebook accounts exploiting an automated program that moved from one friend to the next.

Hackers did not pilfer personal messages or financial data and did not exploit their access to accounts to access users’ accounts on other websites, Facebook reported.
