Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association Contributes 11.11 Million Rupees to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association has contributed 11,111,111 rupees to support emergency relief, rescue, and post-disaster reconstruction efforts for communities affected by severe flooding along the Bhotekoshi river corridor in Rasuwa.

Financial Mobilization and Direct Handover
Inter-Organizational Collection: Financial resources were mobilized across the federation’s organizational structure, consolidating contributions from its Central Executive Committee, provincial committees, and affiliated district, municipal, commodity-based, and associate member units.
Official Deposit: A organizational delegation led by Acting President Dharmasundar Bajracharya presented the contribution cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, which was subsequently deposited into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
Target Objectives: The 11,111,111 rupee fund allocation aims to deliver immediate humanitarian relief to displaced families and support long-term regional rehabilitation.

Executive Rationale: Acting President Bajracharya emphasized that private sector responsibility elevates during major natural disasters, noting that the contribution reflects the business community’s commitment to supporting state-led humanitarian relief.
Delegation Attendance: Official representatives at the handover ceremony included Distinguished Member Mohan Sunar, Vice President Pawan Kumar Somani, General Secretary Kiranbhai Bajracharya, Treasurer Sudeep Shrestha, Gandaki Province President Chandrakishor Gautam, and Director General Shiv Duwadi.
