The fifth edition of the Nepal Infrastructure Summit concluded with a strong focus on sustainable infrastructure development.
Fifth Edition of Nepal Infrastructure Summit
The event, jointly organized by the government and the private sector, brought together key stakeholders to discuss the country’s infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
Former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal emphasized the critical role of infrastructure in Nepal’s economic growth. He highlighted the government’s recent efforts to improve the investment climate and expressed confidence in the summit’s recommendations.
CNI President Rajesh Kumar Agrawal noted the summit’s focus on sustainable practices, innovative financing, and the role of provincial and local governments. He assured that the insights gained would be shared with the government to inform future policies.
Key participants, including CNI President Emeritus Binod Chaudhary and the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Secretary, underscored the importance of expert insights from both domestic and international specialists.
The summit’s title sponsor was BYD, with Shivam Cement as the co-title sponsor. Other key sponsors included Siddhartha Premier Insurance Ltd., MAW Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd., Shikhar Insurance Company Ltd., Siddhartha Bank Ltd., and Huawei.
