Nawaraj Kunwar from CAN Federation will run as a working committee member in the FNCCI elections

NCCI Election 2023Nawaraj Kunwar, the Immediate Past President of the CAN Federation, is going to run for the post of central working committee member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

In the elections of the Federation of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) which is going to be held on the 28th and 29th of Chaitra. CAN Federation will nominate Immediate Past President Nawaraj Kunwar for the post of a central working committee member on behalf of 123 subject associations.

Furthermore, The CAN Federation has stated that education, health, agriculture, tourism, communication, industry, business, relations, and knowledge stand at the foundation of ICT. And has been nominated to cooperate with the government. To make private sector-friendly policies and rules for its development, expansion, and promotion.

Similarly, to increase digital literacy, make the internet cheaper, digitize all transactions as much as possible, promote foreign investment, build a digital economy, build a large national network by making the Federation of Commerce and Industry digital, and promote startups and innovation. The Can Federation has promoted Kunwar as a member of the working committee on behalf of the organization. There is a saying.

Furthermore, the federation has been working for the rights and interests of those working in the field of information and communication technology. Representing Nepal in the international arena related to information technology. And has been giving necessary suggestions and support to the government of Nepal in policies and programs related to information technology.

CAN Federation is a non-profit organization. Established in 1992 to promote and develop the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry in Nepal. CAN works to represent the interests of its members, who are primarily ICT companies and professionals.

Furthermore, the main objectives of CAN are to promote the use of ICT in Nepal. And develop and maintain industry standards. And provide training and support to its members. CAN also work to advocate for policies and regulations that support the growth and development of the ICT industry in Nepal.

In addition, CAN organizes events and conferences to promote knowledge-sharing and networking among its members. It also provides a range of services, including research and development support, software development, and technical support.

Overall, CAN plays an important role in promoting and developing the ICT industry in Nepal. And in supporting the growth and success of its members.

Federation of Commerce and Industry

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is a non-governmental organization. Established in 1965 to represent and promote the interests of the private sector in Nepal. FNCCI is the umbrella organization for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in different districts of Nepal.

The main objectives of FNCCI are to promote and develop the private sector in Nepal. Create a favorable business environment, and provide services and support to its members. It also works to advocate for policies and regulations. It supports the growth and development of the private sector in Nepal.

Similarly, FNCCI represents a wide range of industries and sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and services. It also provides a range of services to its members, including research and analysis, training and capacity-building, and networking opportunities.

Overall, the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry plays a crucial role in representing the interests of the private sector in Nepal. And in promoting its growth and development.

It works closely with the government and other stakeholders to create a favorable business environment. It supports the long-term success of the private sector in Nepal.
