FNCCI Launches 10 Billion Investment Opportunity
Speaking at the Bhanu Municipality Festival in Tanahun, he highlighted that the shortage of investment in impactful local projects will no longer be a challenge.
NPR 10 Billion Investment Company Established
President Dhakal announced the establishment of a new investment company with a capital of NPR 10 billion. This company aims to support innovative local ventures. He encouraged entrepreneurs to seize the opportunity and present projects in tourism, energy, information technology, and agriculture.
Legal Reforms to Boost Investment
Dhakal revealed that the government, at FNCCI’s request, has been revising laws to remove barriers to investment. He noted that these reforms have created an investment-friendly environment, opening doors for new ventures.
Favorable Investment Climate
Dhakal elaborated on how the current economic conditions in Nepal create an ideal environment for investment. He highlighted several key factors contributing to this favorable climate, including a steady increase in tourist arrivals, which boosts the hospitality and service industries.
Strong remittance inflows also play a crucial role, ensuring the availability of foreign currency and financial stability. Additionally, the banking sector enjoys sufficient liquidity, allowing easier financing access.
With stable interest rates, businesses can plan and invest confidently, making it an opportune time for entrepreneurs and investors to take advantage of these favorable conditions.
Promoting Bhanu Municipality
Dhakal also discussed the potential of Bhanu Municipality, the birthplace of Bhanu Bhakta Acharya, as a top tourist destination. He pledged FNCCI’s support for ongoing efforts to promote local products and enhance the area’s tourism prospects.
