The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has begun a service by calling doctors from home to provide information on how to be safe from Covid-19.
The private sector umbrella organization FNCCI has launched the HelloDoctor FNCCI service today as part of the FNCCI Operation Covid Relief Nepal initiative.
Covid infected people who are living in isolation at home will be able to contact a doctor directly to obtain the service. People suffering from covid infection can access doctor-on-call services through Viber.
You can get health counseling by sending a message to Viber at 2111121111 and making a video call via Viber. According to FNCCI, this service is provided free of charge throughout the country.
Initially, 5 doctors will begin consultation work, and time has been set aside from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
According to the FNCCI, to register the name, the patient must send a message to the Viber number 21111211111. And the time of consultation with the doctor will be sent to the patient based on the same message.
Following that, doctors can meet with patients via video call and provide health counseling.
In the message, the patient must include his name, age, and address. The service will be provided free of charge to all infected individuals throughout the world.
The program aims to provide health counseling to infected people via direct access to doctors through technology, in order to create an atmosphere in which they do not need to go to the hospital unless there is an emergency. The federation claims this would also aid in the prevention of covid infection.
