TikTok – a video sharing platform has partnered with the Technology Coalition to prevent child abuse.
Statista reports say that 25% of TikTok users are between the ages of 10 and 19. The Technology Coalition safeguards children from online sexual abuse.
TikTok has said that collaborating with experts would help the app as well.
Apple only allows live streaming to users over the age of 16 and accounts are kept private for up to 15 years.
