Global IME Bank Limited and Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank have agreed to provide non-fund-based banking services. The agreement was signed by Surendra Raj Regmi, CEO of Global IME Bank Limited, and Dipesh Lamsal, CEO of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank.

Under this agreement, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank’s customers can now access various non-fund-based banking services such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Document Against Payment, Document Against Acceptance, and Trade Transaction Banking, among others, through the recommendation of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and the facilitation of Global IME Bank.

Global IME Bank was recognized as the best bank in Nepal in two categories under the prestigious Euromoney Award for Excellence 2024. The bank has also been honored by numerous national and international organizations for excellence in various fields.

Global IME Bank is the first private commercial bank in Nepal to establish a branch network in all 77 districts of the country. It currently operates with 354 branches, 384 ATMs, 255 branchless banking units, 68 extension counters, and 3 international representative offices, totaling over 1,000 service points.
