Global IME Bank and VG Impex Join Hands to Offer Concessional Vehicle Loans

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) and VG Impex Pvt. Ltd. GWM Nepal have entered into a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing customers with attractive financing options for electric and fuel-based vehicles at a concessional interest rate.

Under the terms of the MoU, Global IME Bank will collaborate with VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., the official seller of Havel brand SUVs, power brand pickups, and ORA brand electric vehicles in Nepal. This partnership will enable Nepali citizens interested in purchasing these vehicles to access convenient vehicle loans from the bank.

Customers seeking financing for their vehicle purchases can apply at any of the bank’s branches with the necessary documentation and details. Once deemed eligible according to the bank’s criteria, customers can expect to receive their vehicle loans within three working days, ensuring a swift and hassle-free process.

The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Rupendra Wagle, Head of the Small and Medium Credit Department at Global IME Bank, and representatives from VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., including Mr. Rupesh Sharma Bhatta, Vice-President of the company.

Global IME Bank has consistently prioritized its customers’ convenience by introducing a variety of timely and relevant schemes. With a robust presence across Nepal, the bank serves over 4 million customers through its extensive network of more than 1100 service centers.

This includes 350 branches, 369 ATMs, 322 branchless banking services, 64 extension and revenue collection counters, and three foreign representative offices strategically located across all seven districts of the country.

This partnership between Global IME Bank and VG Impex Pvt. Ltd. reflects their commitment to fostering financial inclusion and supporting the aspirations of Nepali citizens to acquire quality vehicles.

The concessional interest rate on vehicle loans is expected to make owning Havel brand SUVs, power brand pickups, and ORA brand electric vehicles more accessible and affordable for the people of Nepal, further contributing to the growth of the automobile industry in the country.
