NRB has allowed commercial banks (Global E-com Dollar Card) and development banks to issue prepaid cards with a maximum value of $500. Many banks are launching their prepaid card.
Global IME Bank is launching a ‘Global E-Com Dollar Card‘. The bank issued such a dollar card in accordance with Nepal Rastra Banks.
The bank issues this card for the purpose of paying for the purchase of goods and services from abroad online.
The customer can pay $500 or its equivalent in other foreign currencies and pay abroad from Nepal.
According to the bank, the card can be used to buy products and services online (except in India), such as Netflix recharge, and pay tuition fees. And you can even promote your company on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp.
To get this card, first customers need to open a bank account by submitting their citizenship and PAN card and also paying an Rs. 500 service fee.
With this card, you can pay for products from home or the office without having to go to a bank.
