Gold prices experienced a significant decline in the Nepalese market on Tuesday, dropping by NPR 3,800 per tola in a single day.

According to trading rates published by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is priced at NPR 290,500 per tola on September 29, 2026 (Ashwin 13, 2083 BS). Silver prices also decreased during the same trading session, falling by NPR 115 per tola.

Revised Precious Metal Trading Rates

The updated official market rates for fine gold and silver are outlined below.

• Fine Gold (Per Tola): Dropped by NPR 3,800 to trade at NPR 290,500 per tola.
• Silver (Per Tola): Decreased by NPR 115 to settle at NPR 4,395 per tola.
• Governing Authority: Official bullion rates were determined and released by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
