The OTP code in Google Messages will now be automatically deleted

Lately, Google has been providing many features in its messages. The company, which has been providing new updates from time to time, will now provide automatic deletion of ‘OTP message’ keeping in mind the user’s privacy.

An automatically generated numeric or alphanumeric string of characters that verifies the user for a single transaction or login session is a one-time password (OTP). It’s valid for 2 or 3 minutes after that the code expires.

This feature has been made available by the company in some countries including India. In which the message in the OTP section of the user will be deleted automatically after 24 hours. The company has provided such a feature to secure the user’s important information such as OTP.

This feature will be available on versions of Android 8 and above. Although the first phase will be available in some countries including India, it is said that this feature will be available to other users soon.
