Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari has urged common Nepalese citizens to enter digital banking by learning what they do not know by asking each other.
Addressing a program organized by a neighboring microfinance institution, Governor Adhikari said that cashless transactions could not be carried out by just one or two people using digital banking.

He stressed the need for all sections to work through the QR code for digitization from village to village. Rising the issue that some people find it difficult to operate a digital system.
The governor said that it should not be difficult to move forward by asking each other what they do not know, understanding and learning from each other.
He said that digitization would reduce costs, speed up work, save time, do more work and make it easier and more transparent. He also said that he would dedicate himself to digitalization in the banking sector.
