Heifer International Nepal Contributes 10 Million Rupees to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

Heifer International Nepal and its staff have provided financial assistance of 10 million rupees to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation operations for communities impacted by glacial lake outburst floods and landslides across Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading.

Contribution Mobilization: The 10 million rupee aid combines direct funding from the organization emergency provision with voluntary salary contributions from employees.
Field Relief Initiatives: Alongside its contribution to the central fund, the organization is dispatching emergency food supplies, healthcare services, and essential materials directly to displaced families.
Institutional Engagement: Heifer Nepal is continuously assessing ground requirements in coordination with relevant government authorities, community partners, and local stakeholders to implement targeted recovery initiatives.
