High Court Patan Dismisses Writ Petition Regarding NADA Election Path Cleared For Swearing-in of Newly Elected Executive Committee

The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has informed that the writ petition filed in connection with its recently conducted election process has been dismissed today by the Honorable High Court Patan.

Following the filing of the writ petition and while the judicial proceedings were ongoing, the association had decided to temporarily postpone the formal swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee, in order to demonstrate due respect for the judicial process and uphold the principles of the rule of law.
With the decision of the Honorable High Court Patan dismissing the writ petition today, the legal impediment relating to the matter has now been removed, thereby clearing the way for the swearing-in of the newly elected Executive Committee of NADA.
In this context, the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee will be conducted in the near future in accordance with the rules and established procedures of the association.
NADA has expressed its respect for the decision of the Honorable Court and believes that the ruling has brought clarity to the matter, enabling the association to move forward with renewed stability, unity, and commitment.
The association further reiterated its dedication to working collaboratively with its members, government authorities, and relevant stakeholders to promote the sustainable growth, policy dialogue, and continued advancement of Nepal’s automobile sector.
