HTC announced the new HTC Desire 530 smartphone in February 2016 at the Mobile World Conference MWC held in Barcelona and is expected to be released in March 2016. This phone comes up with an Android OS v6.0 (Marshmallow).
This phone has a dimension of 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm (5.78 x 2.79 x 0.33 in) with 8.3 mm thickness and weighs about 140 grams. It uses Nano-SIM technology. This phone supports GSM/ HSPA/ LTE network configurations. The display is of 16M colors and has Super LCD capacitive touchscreen.
The screen size is 5.0 inches, and the screen-to-body ratio is 66.2%. The screen resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels which are precisely 294 PPI pixel density. It supports multitouch and comes up with HTC Sense UI 7.0. It has got Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset, and CPU comprises of Quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A7 processors.  The internal memory available is 16 GB and contains 1.5 GB RAM. The GPU used is Adreno 304. It also supports micro SD slot that could be upgraded up to 200 GB (dedicated slot).
The primary camera comprises of an 8 MP, f/2.4, autofocus and LED flash camera while secondary comprises of 5 MP, f/2.8, 234mmand 1080p@30fps. The camera features include Geo-tagging, face detection, touch focus, panorama, and HDR.
The video feature is  1080p@30fps, 720p @120 fps, and HDR. The microphone jack is 3.55mm and has got loudspeakers. The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and hotspot. The browser is HTML5. The Bluetooth version is v4.1, A2DP. It also contains FM radio.
It also comes with NFC connection and the GPS technology used is A-GPS, GLONASS. It also comes with accelerometer and proximity sensors. The messaging can be performed via MMS, SMS threaded view, Email and Push mail. The USB is available us micro USB v2.0. The battery used is a Non-removable Li-Po 2200 mAH battery. The colors available are White and Black.
