Huawei Launches FusionSolar9.0 & LUTERRA ESS to Boost Nepal’s Green Energy Grid

Huawei launched its latest FusionSolar9.0 Smart PV Solution and LUTERRATM Utility Grid Forming ESS in Nepal, reaffirming the company’s long-term commitment to supporting Nepal’s transition towards clean, reliable, and sustainable energy.

The new solutions were jointly unveiled by Birendra Raj Pandey, President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI); Yu Jianlong, Director of Huawei Digital Power South Asia Region; Chester Chen, CEO of Huawei Nepal; and Rohit Chandra Shah, Director of Huawei Nepal Digital Power, during an event held under the theme “Step into the All-Scenario Grid-Forming Era.” The event brought together government representatives, energy developers, industry leaders, business partners, and stakeholders from Nepal’s renewable energy sector.
As Nepal continues to expand renewable energy generation and strengthen its power infrastructure, Huawei’s latest Digital Power solutions are designed to help improve grid reliability, increase the efficient use of solar energy, and support the country’s long-term energy security goals.
FusionSolar9.0 is Huawei’s latest utility-scale solar power solution, combining intelligent digital technologies with solar energy to improve operational efficiency and maximize clean energy generation. Alongside it, Huawei also introduced the LUTERRA Utility Grid Forming ESS, an advanced battery energy storage solution that helps store renewable energy, balance electricity supply and demand, and enhance the stability of the national grid.
Together, the solutions provide an integrated approach to supporting Nepal’s growing renewable energy sector while enabling utilities and developers to build more resilient, efficient, and sustainable energy infrastructure
