Excitement is building as the semi-finals of the prestigious Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus approach. Scheduled for this Saturday, the event will showcase the brilliance and creativity of the top 25 selected semi-finalist teams.

Participants will present their innovative solutions to pressing global issues, focusing on the theme “UNLIMITED” and aligning their ideas with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This competition aims to inspire and empower everyone involved.
The semi-finals feature an exceptional lineup of guest judges and speakers, each a trailblazer in their respective fields. These esteemed individuals bring decades of experience and expertise, ensuring a rigorous and inspiring evaluation process for our semi-finalists.
Nikita Bajracharya
Ms. Bajracharya is a visionary leader managing a USD 25 million portfolio in the pharmaceutical, technology, and renewable energy sectors. With over 12 years of experience in deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and post-investment monitoring, she offers unparalleled expertise in business strategy. Her distinguished career includes contributions to inward investment, research, and industrial promotion in the Dundee region. A certified expert in negotiation strategies from the Indian School of Business and a graduate of the University of Dundee with a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Ms. Bajracharya exemplifies the power of strategic thinking and innovation.
Ujjyol Singh
As a dynamic managing director in the computer software industry, Mr. Singh’s career has been marked by excellence in data analytics, product development, and cross-team collaboration. His profound knowledge of business analytics and Scrum methodology has set a benchmark in software development. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from MCRP University, Mr. Singh brings a unique perspective on how technology can drive entrepreneurial success.
Rajan Thapa
A leading voice in climate change advocacy, Mr. Thapa is the National Project Manager for CBIT. His expertise spans policy advising, research, and negotiation on climate issues, making him a critical player in shaping sustainable development strategies. Mr. Thapa’s involvement promises to infuse the competition with a strong emphasis on environmental responsibility and impact-driven solutions.
Satish Khadka
As the Director of Sajilo Sewa, Mr. Khadka is a champion of investment and financial modeling. His deep knowledge of business strategy, regulatory advisory, and market development positions him as an invaluable guide for budding entrepreneurs. With a keen understanding of the startup ecosystem, Mr. Khadka’s presence reinforces the event’s commitment to fostering innovative business models.
The semi-finals will feature a series of intense pitch presentations in which participants will showcase their innovative ideas to address the 2025 Hult Prize theme. Each team will be evaluated on the feasibility, sustainability, and social impact of their solutions. The top 10 teams from the 25 will be selected for the finals, bringing them a step closer to winning the Hult Prize at IOE, Pulchowk Campus.
