IBM School Program Launches
Developed by IBM and delivered through its official delivery partner, Transneuron Technologies, Bangalore, this globally recognized program is designed to equip students from Grade 5 to Grade 12 with practical knowledge and exposure in some of the most important technologies shaping the world today, including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity.
This is not just another academic course. It is a world-class learning pathway that introduces students to advanced technologies from an early stage and prepares them to become creators, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow. The program is structured in a progressive format so that students can grow step by step based on their level of learning and readiness.
The first stage is Explorer, which serves as the foundational level and is further divided into Explorer, Explorer Plus, and Explorer Advance. This stage focuses on building curiosity, basic understanding, and early confidence in emerging technologies. The second stage is Discoverer 1 and Discoverer 2, which are certification-based courses that give students deeper knowledge and globally valued credentials. The final stage is Innovator 1 and Innovator 2, where students move beyond theory and begin working on their own products and ideas. At this level, students will have the opportunity to develop solutions and pitch them before a venture capitalist panel, giving them rare real-world exposure at a school level.
Each course under this program offers certificates that carry international value and recognition. These certifications are expected to add significant academic and professional value to students as they progress in higher education and future careers. The program aims to bridge the gap between traditional schooling and the demands of a fast-changing digital world.
A major milestone in this journey will take place on April 13, when St. Xavier’s, Godavari, will officially sign with Asian E-Learning Pvt. Ltd. On the very same day official signing with Cosmos College of Management and Technology, marks the formal launch of the IBM School Program in Nepal. These collaborations represent a powerful commitment to giving Nepalese students access to global-standard technology education within their school journey.
Fr. Vijay Toppo, Principal of St. Xavier’s, Godavari, addressed his students with great enthusiasm following the signing, stating that this collaboration with Asian E-Learning and the IBM School Program is going to be hugely beneficial to their future. He encouraged students to embrace this opportunity wholeheartedly, emphasizing that gaining access to world-class technology education at the school level would give them a meaningful advantage as they step into higher education and careers in an increasingly digital world.
Mr. Subodh Tripathee, Managing Director of Asian E-Learning Pvt. Ltd., expressed that the trust placed forward by both St. Xavier’s and Cosmos College is one that Asian E-Learning fully intends to reciprocate. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved, stating that this collaboration marks a meaningful turning point that will bring positive change and open up new learning opportunities for students. He reaffirmed Asian E-Learning’s commitment to ensuring that every student who is part of this program experiences real and lasting benefit.
The school is highly enthusiastic about creating meaningful opportunities for its students and empowering children with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they truly deserve. This initiative is expected to inspire a new generation of young learners in Nepal to think bigger, innovate earlier, and compete globally.
This launch can be positioned as a landmark step for school education in Nepal, as it brings internationally designed technology education directly into the academic ecosystem for young learners. It reflects a bold vision to prepare students not only for exams, but for the future.
