Federation of Computer Association of Nepal is all geared up to host the International ICT Conference on 17th and 18th of June at Hotel Himalaya, Lalitpur. Earlier, CAN Federation has organized up to the 17th edition of ICT Conference as a part of CAN Info-Tech, but this time to make the conference better than ever federation is bringing up international expertise.
The conference will run under the theme of “Sustainable development goals for smart society.”
As per the press statement, the Finance Minister will show his presence in the event and will discuss the government’s plans, and policies on sustainable development, IT sectors and recently drafted budget. The expertise on two days event will confer about Infrastructure development, digital economy, security, and practice of Information and technology.
Likewise, the representative from Smart Society, SDGs, IT sectors, Government of Nepal, Political parties and delegates from local levels will have higher level discussion regarding the making of Smart local levels ‘Smartpalika’.
Similarly, in association with Ministry of Urban development, plans and policies regarding the master plan of smart city will also be discussed during the event. The primary sponsor for the event is Subisu Cable Net whereas the co-sponsor of the Conference is Lifecom, a sole authorized distributor of Motorola Smartphone in Nepal.
Ministry of Information Communication technology will also support the event, Ministry of Urban Development, Department of Information Technology, Nepal Telecommunication Authority, NAST, Nepal Tourism Board and other international organizations like ASOCIO, WITSA, CAN-USA, and Microsoft.
