Yango is providing free transportation of relief supplies through its Yango Delivery Cargo service, helping humanitarian organisations move aid to communities affected by the Bhotekoshi flooding.

Working alongside local NGOs, the initiative has helped relief supplies reach more than 1,000 people in the affected districts of Rasuwa, Dhading and Nuwakot.
Yango began supporting the relief response from its earliest stages and continues to provide transportation assistance as humanitarian efforts remain underway. Through Yango Delivery, the service has been helping organisations such as Hami Nepal, Astitwa Nepal and Crisis Connect Nepal move relief supplies both within Kathmandu and from collection points in the capital to affected communities outside the valley.
The driver‑partner community has also stepped up. On 2 September, Easy Ride Nepal, a Yango fleet partner, organised an open blood donation drive in its local community along with Yango’s leadership, including the Country Manager, Mr. Santosh Pandey. The drive brought together Yango representatives, partners and their drivers as well as citizens of Nepal from nearby neighbourhoods.
“There are moments when the usual metrics stop mattering. Nobody on our team was thinking about rides or orders when the news from Bhotekoshi came in — we were thinking about the fastest way to be useful,” said Santosh Pandey, Country Manager of Yango for Nepal. “What we have is access to large vehicles, partner drivers, and a network that moves things every single day.” In moments like these, the only thing that truly matters is putting what you have in the hands of the people doing the real work on the ground — and getting out of their way.”
In addition to arranging logistics support, Yango also used its digital platform to make it easier for citizens of Nepal to contribute directly to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief efforts. A dedicated banner on the Yango app redirected users to the official Prime Minister’s Flood Relief webpage, providing customers with a direct avenue to learn more about the relief response and make donations to support flood-affected communities.
