Last month, Xiaomi unveiled its Mi 11 flagship fuelled by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. And now SD 888-powered phone has been launched by another Chinese smartphone brand. Vivo’s iQOO sub-brand hosted an event yesterday to promote its new flagship iQOO 7 in China.

iQOO 7 Overview:
The iQoo 7 was released in three distinct finishes, alongside a special edition produced in collaboration with BMW M Motorsport, which holds the three-colored stripes on the back of BMW Motorsport.
The iQoo 7 flagship smartphone has been launched in three color options-Black, Latent Blue, and Legendary Color Version-apart from the exclusive BMW M Motorsport edition.
The smartphone will go on sale in China on 15 January and specifics of international availability are yet to be announced. The iQoo 7 is operating on Android 11-based OriginOS from iQoo. It has a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
With regard to optics, the iQoo 7 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide f/2.2 lens, and a 13-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, the iQoo 7 comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C ports.

iQOO 7 is available for pre-order in China where the price of the basic version (8/128GB) is 3,798 Yuan. As of now, we have yet to see iQOO phones officially arrive in Nepal. But you may be able to get a hand on it through unofficial handles. As such, we expect the starting price of iQOO 7 to be around NPR 75,000 in Nepal.
