Unnati Microfinance Financial Institution Limited has transferred the insurance amount. On Monday, the financial institution handed over the insurance amount to the victim’s family.
After the death of Maya Darji, a member of Unnati Sital Nagar Women’s Group at Pokhara 32, the insurance money received by the members was transferred in the middle of a program today by the microfinance financial institution.
Santosh Poudel branch chief handed over the amount (Rs.1,30,00) to Ashish Pariyar son of the deceased.
According to Poudel, the group members have taken loans to pay 130% compensation in case of death of a member. And 200 percent in case of accidental death also 100 percent compensation in case of death of a member’s husband.
