Kalinchowk Darshan Opens IPO for Project-affected and Foreign Workers

Kalinchowk Darshan has issued shares today. The company has issued an IPO at once for project-affected and Nepali people who have gone abroad for employment.

The Nepal Securities Board has revised the Securities Issuance and Allotment Guidelines for the sixth time and allocated a quota for participation in the IPO purchase for foreign workers.

Kalinchowk will include this new provision in the IPO. Foreign workers will be able to apply for IPO for the first time. They will get 10 percent of the total primary issue issued by the company.

Kalinchowk Darshan is issuing an IPO for the project affected with 2% of the issued capital of 6 million rupees. According to this, they will be allowed to apply for 1 lakh 20 thousand shares.

Foreign workers will get 10 percent of the total common shares to be issued. The company will apply for 1 lakh 8 thousand shares for them.

The company is issuing an IPO worth 18 percent of the issued capital i.e. 1.8 million rupees to the general public.

Project-affected people can apply for a maximum of 4,990 shares. Similarly, Nepalis who have gone for foreign employment can apply for up to 10,800 shares in most cases.

The IPO will close on Mangsir 28. The company said that if there are not enough applications, it will be extended until Poush 14.
