Kathmandu Spikers Signs Turkish Volleyball Star Pelin Eroktay

Kathmandu Spikers is excited to announce the signing of internationally acclaimed left-handed opposite hitter Pelin Eroktay, as their foreign player for the upcoming Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League 2024.

Kathmandu Spikers Turkish Volleyball Star

Pelin Eroktay is a talented Turkish volleyball player, widely recognized for her powerful attacks and strong defensive abilities. She has represented Turkey in numerous international competitions, showcasing her skills on the global stage. Eroktay’s national team experience includes playing in prestigious tournaments such as the European Championship U16, BVA Cup U16, U17 European Championship and U19 World Championship.

She also competed in the European Championships U18, U19, and U21 in 2022, further establishing her presence as a key player for Turkey. At the club level, she has gained experience playing for the top teams in Turkey, participating in the Turkish Kadinlar Volleyball League, the highest professional women’s volleyball league as well as the Turkish Kadinlar Volleyball League, Turkish Cup, Turkish Kadinlar One League, and Turkish Kadinlar Volleyball Two League.

Her contributions to both national and club teams have earned her recognition, including the Most Valuable Player award at the U16 BVA, Best Server at the U17 BVA, and Best Opposite at the European Championship U17. Eroktay’s impressive record of achievements, both individually and as part of her teams, highlights her exceptional talent and her bright future in Turkish and international volleyball. Eroktay who joined Kathmandu Spikers, is just 20 years old and has 190 cm height.

The Kathmandu Spikers are confident that the addition of Eroktay will greatly strengthen their team as begin their journey in the Everest Women’s Volleyball League. The team looks forward to a season of strong performances and memorable moments with their new star player.
