Khalti has been honored with the WITSA Global Innovation & Tech Excellence Awards 2022 under the category of Digital Opportunity/Inclusion Award. It was held on September 14 in Penang, Malaysia which was organized by WITSA (World Innovation, Technology, And Service Alliance)
More than 80 International brands around the world participated in the award ceremony.
Honored with the prestigious international WITSA award, Khalti has also highlighted Nepal on the international platform. Chief Executive Officer of Khalti, Mr. Binay Khadka, received the award on behalf of Khalti. While receiving the award Mr. Khadka thanked all the Khalti users, partners, merchants, agents, regulators, the Khalti team, and other stakeholders who have supported Khalti for the last 6 years. He also expressed his vision of exploring & expanding financial service technology in the international market.
The World Congress On Innovation & Technology, WCIT is the largest and the most reputable international event among worldwide IT leaders. WCIT has been held since 1978, a flagship event of the World Innovation, Technology, And Services Alliance (WITSA).
