KMC launches online portal for efficiency, Gyanendra Karki

Kathmandu Metropolitan City shall be establishing an aid towards the extending service for the valley this week to the electrical systems. For the first time, at Ward No. 31 the test shall be operated as the service from Kathmandu Metropolitan city, Information technology branch chief Ram Sapkota said.

According to him, about a month integration and the test is being prepared to connect to all other wards via electronic technology. According to the spokesman, Gyanendra Karki, the extended service shall be paperless, and as well provides technology-based services to expand citizens’ homes via the electrical system to develop their service project.

Asian Development Bank, The Ministry of Federal Affairs and the Local Development for the investment shall invest in the project with the amount of NRs four crore. After all this, Ward offices and citizens would be able to receive the service. Mapping survey development services and information, details about the dues incurred on tax, shall be facilitated to the citizens via the Internet to get all the information queries and ethics.

Similarly, budget monitoring and planning system, financial system, revenue management, staff and exchange of information, human resource management, including civil Interface system is said to be all work through this. The Internal Revenue Service Extension details are regularly to be collected as a record at KMC is taken as the faith.

Under the Internal Revenue, every year around one billion people has said another one billion had been living dues. All information will be kept as a computer record at metropolitan. Whereas, citizens records  in all 35 wards of KMC is also to be recorded on the database of metropolitan computer systems
