Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Begins Direct Deposit of 15 Percent Cash Dividend

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has initiated the direct distribution of a 15 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83.

The payouts are being processed electronically via Interbank Payment System (IPS) directly into the verified bank accounts of eligible shareholders.
AGM Approval and Payment Mechanism
The cash dividend distribution was formally authorized during the development bank’s general meeting.
- Annual General Meeting Endorsement: The bank’s 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Bhadra 31 approved the proposal to distribute a 15 percent cash dividend, inclusive of applicable tax obligations.
- Electronic Transfer System: Transfers began on Bhadra 31, utilizing Nepal Clearing House IPS infrastructure to route funds straight into shareholder accounts.
Account Verification and Updating Directives
The bank clarified the eligibility criteria for automated deposits while issuing guidance for pending accounts.
- Verification Criteria: Dividends are being credited to shareholders who updated their bank details in their Demat accounts by Bhadra 17, provided the registered holder name matches the bank account record.
- Account and PAN Updates: Shareholders who have not yet opened a Demat account or linked their banking details are instructed to update their bank account and Permanent Account Number (PAN) immediately. The bank account must be held in the shareholder’s name at an IPS member financial institution.
- Pledged Shareholder Requirements: Shareholders who pledged their equity as loan collateral on or before Bhadra 17 must present a No Objection Letter or loan settlement clearance from the respective lender to receive their payout.
