KSBBL Donates Water Dispenser To Basic Health Center in Jhapa

In a dedicated effort to enhance public health facilities, Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has extended its support to the local community in eastern Nepal.

Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, KSBBL donates water dispenser units to the Basic Health Center located at Srijanachowk, Mechinagar Municipality-08, Jhapa.
The initiative was spearheaded by the bank’s Ittabhatta Branch to ensure that patients and visitors at the health center have access to clean drinking water.
Enhancing Health Infrastructure in Mechinagar
The formal handover ceremony saw the participation of key local leaders and bank officials. Khim Lal Bhusal, the Koshi Province Head of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, officially presented the equipment to Diwakar Paudel, the In-charge of the Basic Health Center.
The event was graced by the presence of Giriraj Dhamala, Ward Chairperson of Mechinagar Municipality-08, who lauded the bank’s commitment to local social welfare.

Impact on the Underprivileged
Reliable access to clean water is a fundamental requirement for any medical facility. Health Center In-charge Diwakar Paudel highlighted that this donation would significantly ease the stay of patients.
“While this facility will benefit everyone, it is particularly vital for the poor and helpless service seekers who rely on our center for their primary healthcare needs,” Paudel stated.
