The event will take place at the Dhulikhel campus of Kathmandu University, bringing together students, professionals, and industry experts. It will highlight innovative projects in electrical engineering, electronics, information technology, and energy.

Theme and Focus of EEPEX 25

This year’s theme for EEPEX is “Engage, Elevate, Execute,” which emphasizes the event’s focus on student engagement, elevating their projects, and encouraging real-world application. Over 40 project stalls will showcase the latest innovations from students across Nepal.

The main event will center on the Project Exhibition Competition, where engineering students will present their most creative and cutting-edge solutions. Projects will range from smart automation systems to sustainable energy solutions.

Pre-Event Hardware Hackathon: Real-Life Problem Solving

Before the main exhibition, EEPEX 2025 will host a pre-event Hardware Hackathon on January 19 and 20, 2025. During the hackathon, participants will attempt to find solutions to real-life problems using hardware-based innovations. This hands-on competition will provide a unique opportunity for students to apply their skills to practical challenges in the engineering field.

Exciting Robotics Competitions and E-Sports

EEPEX 2025 will feature various robotics competitions, including the Line Following Robot Challenge, Robo Soccer, Aqua Sumo, and Robo Sumo. These competitions will allow participants to demonstrate their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Additionally, e-sports enthusiasts can take part in exciting tournaments such as Valorant, FIFA, and Clash Royale. The event will also feature a Treasure Hunt competition, “What’s the Clue,” offering an exciting and interactive experience for attendees.

Expert Panel Discussions on Engineering and Technology

The event will include panel discussions focused on leadership in the tech industry, the future of engineering, and the role of technology in shaping tomorrow’s world.

The panel will feature prominent figures such as Engineer Bikash Gurung, President of the Robotics Association of Nepal, Prabal Bhattarai, Project Manager at K&A Engineering Consulting, Minu Pradhan, former CTO and Director of Nepal Telecom, and Dr. Basant Gautam, Associate Professor at Pulchok Campus. Their insights will provide valuable perspectives on the evolving engineering landscape.

Online Competitions and Entertainment Activities

In addition to technical events, EEPEX will offer a variety of recreational activities. These include an online music competition, a chess tournament, and the much-awaited Acoustic Night. These activities will allow participants and attendees to relax, enjoy, and showcase their creative talents.

Successful Pre-Events Set the Stage for EEPEX 25

Leading up to the exhibition, several pre-events have already been successfully held, including Circuit Designing, C Leads, Model Car Challenges, Line Following Robot Training, and AI sessions. These pre-events have built excitement and momentum for the upcoming exhibition and will contribute to its overall success.

Looking Ahead: EEPEX 25 Aims to Inspire Future Innovators
