Laxmi Sunrise Bank Proposes 5.26 Percent Total Dividend Including 5 Percent Bonus Shares

Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has proposed a total dividend of 5.26 percent for its shareholders from the profits of the fiscal year 2082/83.

The board of directors meeting held on Kartik 11, 2083, finalized the dividend distribution ratio subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.

Total Proposed Dividend: The bank announced a total dividend payout ratio of 5.26 percent based on its current paid-up capital.
Bonus Share Quota: The board proposed a 5 percent bonus share distribution, amounting to 13,390,581.73 units of bonus shares.
Cash Dividend Allocation: A cash dividend of 0.26 percent, totaling NPR 69,631,025, was declared strictly for dividend tax requirement coverage.
Practical Implication for Shareholders: Under the 5 percent bonus ratio, shareholders will receive 5 additional shares for every 100 shares held in the bank.
Regulatory and Endorsement Requirements: The proposed dividend is subject to formal endorsement by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and subsequent approval at the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
