LG Launches New Dualcool Inverter AC in Nepal: Save Up to 70% Electricity
28th May 2026, Kathmandu
LG Electronics, in close collaboration with its official authorized distributor CG Electronics, has officially unveiled its highly anticipated “Dualcool Inverter” residential air conditioner series in the Nepalese market.
LG New Dualcool Inverter AC
The lineup was introduced during a special corporate launch event, marking a significant milestone in sustainable home appliance technologies within the country.
According to the company, this brand-new residential product line has been specifically designed keeping in mind the evolving requirements of Nepalese households, rapidly escalating electricity expenses, and the rising consumer demand for energy-efficient smart appliances. Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of the Chaudhary Group (CG), officially inaugurated and launched the premium lineup during the event.
Smart Energy Management with ‘kW Manager’
The standout innovation of the new LG Dualcool Air Conditioner series is the integration of the ‘kW Manager’ system—an intelligent energy management tool. The company claims that this specific technology empowers users to directly regulate, optimize, and lower their domestic electricity consumption.
Through the intuitive ‘kW Manager’ feature, consumers can conveniently set their desired electricity consumption limits and schedule specific operating hours.
Furthermore, the system integrates seamlessly with the LG ThinQ smart application platform, allowing users to monitor their precise, real-time power consumption directly from their smartphones.
The smart system is designed to send automated alerts during high-energy usage scenarios and can automatically activate energy-saving configurations based on the user’s predefined preferences.
Advanced Hygiene and Climate Resilience
Beyond energy optimization, the premium series boasts a state-of-the-art ‘Freeze Clean’ mechanism. This specialized hygiene system cleans out accumulated dust, dirt, and microscopic pathogens from the evaporator coil, ensuring the continuous circulation of pure, fresh indoor air. Laboratory evaluations have verified that this feature is capable of eradicating up to 99.04% of harmful bacteria inside the air conditioning unit.
Engineered explicitly to endure Nepal’s volatile voltage fluctuations and distinct climatic patterns, the units are equipped with Gold Fin Plus anti-corrosion coating over 100% copper tubing. This robust build allows the new models to run seamlessly without needing an external voltage stabilizer.
Driving Efficiency in Nepalese Households
Speaking at the launch event, Gaurav Hamal, General Manager of the Marketing Department at CG Electronics, emphasized the market shift.
He noted that energy efficiency has quickly transitioned into a primary priority for Nepalese families. He added that this cutting-edge solution will play a critical role in helping consumers balance their domestic expenditures while managing electricity use effectively.
LG Electronics remains a prominent global pioneer in home appliances, consumer electronics, and high-performance climate control systems, while CG Electronics continues its long-standing legacy as the brand’s trusted distributor across Nepal.
