Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited has officially announced the merger of eight branch offices across Bagmati, Gandaki, and Madhesh provinces.

According to the official notice released by the institution, the branch adjustments took effect on August 3, 2026, corresponding to Shrawan 18, 2083.
Details Of Consolidated Branch Locations
Under the merger plan, operations from eight smaller branch locations have been consolidated into nearby main operating branches:
- Hakim Chowk Branch: Merged into the Narayangarh Branch
- Balaju Branch: Merged into the Gongabu Branch
- Khusibu Branch: Merged into the Dallu Branch
- Kalanki Branch: Merged into the Swayambhu Branch
- Koteshwor Branch: Merged into the New Baneshwor Branch
- Thamel Branch: Merged into the Durbar Marg Branch
- Lamachaur Branch: Merged into the Bagar Branch
- Birgunj Link Road Branch: Merged into the Adarshanagar Branch

The bank has reassured all valued clients and account holders that daily banking services will continue without interruption.
Customers associated with the merged branches can seamlessly access their deposit accounts, loan facilities, and digital services from the respective receiving branch offices.
All existing account credentials, cheque books, debit cards, and digital banking access remain fully valid following the physical operational integration.
