Prof. Dr. Manish Pokharel has been named Dean of the School of Engineering at Kathmandu University. The Executive Board of the University decided to appoint Pokharel on Friday.
The Council appointed Pokharel as the new dean after the end of Dambar Bahadur Nepali’s term. In a few days, the Council will send a formal letter to Pokharel.
Pakharel, who has previously been Head of the Department of Computer Engineering. He has been teaching at KU for a long time. Now Council appoints him as the new Dean of Engineering.
After being appointed Dean of the School of Engineering. He said that he will take the initiative to prepare a skilled workforce for the opportunities and challenges facing IT and computer engineering education in collaboration with the university’s expert community.
