Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Partners with Rotary District 3292 for School Infrastructure and Literacy Initiatives

Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rotary International District 3292 – Basic Education and Literacy Committee on September 25, 2026 (Ashwin 9, 2083 BS) to enhance educational standards and infrastructure in community and public schools.

Under the agreement, the bank will deploy Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds to support education-focused projects executed through Rotary Clubs.
Educational Support Scope, Project Focus, and Community Relief Efforts
The partnership focuses on upgrading school facilities, promoting sanitation, and expanding digital literacy.
Key Educational Projects:
Construction and improvement of school toilet facilities, implementation of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives, and establishment of computer labs in public schools.

Enhance basic education quality, improve student hygiene standards, and increase access to digital learning infrastructure in public academic institutions.
CSR Scope:
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank actively carries out CSR initiatives across education, public health, environmental sustainability, and community development sectors.

The bank recently contributed financial aid to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to assist in rescue, relief, and reconstruction efforts following flood damage in the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli River region.
