Madan Bhandari Memorial College (MBMC) has announced MBMC Hackfest 2026, a premier two-day internal hackathon scheduled for August 22 and 23, 2026 (2083-05-06 to 2083-05-07 B.S.).

Hosted at the MBMC Auditorium in Kathmandu, the weekend event unites student creators across diverse academic disciplines under the guiding theme: “Think, Innovate, and Build.”
Designed as an experiential innovation sprint, MBMC Hackfest 2026 offers students a platform to turn creative concepts into functional software and hardware solutions, receive direct guidance from mentors, and compete before an expert judging panel.

Event Agenda & Schedule
Day 1: Opening & Sprint Launch (Saturday, August 22)
Morning Formalities: Team registration, welcome ceremony, national anthem, ceremonial lamp-lighting, and an opening address by the Chief Guest.
Briefing: Comprehensive orientation covering competition rules, guidelines, and code of conduct.
Sprint Phase: Participants dive into four development sprints spaced throughout the day, supported by scheduled breakfast, lunch, and networking breaks.
Day 2: Final Sprints, Judging & Ceremony (Sunday, August 23)
Final Sprints: Execution of Sprints 5 and 6 to finalize working prototypes.
Presentation Prep: Dedicated session with mentors to refine slides and project pitches.
Evaluation: Two structured rounds of judging where teams present their projects live.
Closing Ceremony: Felicitation of mentors and judges, announcement of winners, distribution of award cheques and certificates, and official closing notes.
