Sony announced and the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra smartphone on August 2015 that comes up with  android OS v5.0 (Lollipop) up-gradable to v5.1 (Lollipop) and is planned to upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow). This phone has a dimension of 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2 mm (6.46 x 3.13 x 0.32 in) having thickness 8.2 mm and weighs about 187 grams.
This phone supports GSM/ HPSA/ LTE network configurations. It uses Nano-SIM technology. The display is of 16M colors and has IPS LCD capacities touchscreen. The screen size is 6.0 inches and the screen-to-body ratio is 75.9%. The screen resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels which is exactly 367 ppi pixel density. It supports multi touch up to 10 fingers and comes up with Scratch-resistant glass and Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.
It has got Media Tek MT6752 chip-set and CPU comprises of Octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 processors. The GPU used is Mali-T760MP2. The internal memory available is 16 GB and it contains 2GB RAM. It supports a micro SD card that could be expanded up to 200 GB (dedicated slot). The primary camera comprises of a 13 MP, f/2.0, 25mm, auto focus, LED flash camera while the secondary is 13 MP, f/2.2, 22mm, auto focus, LED flash, 1080p@30fps camera.
The video quality is 1080p @30fps, 720p @120fps and HDR. The camera has got the features like touch focus, face/smile detection, Geo-tagging, HDR and panorama mode. The microphone jack is 3.55mm and contains loudspeakers. The WLAN supported are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and hotpots. The Bluetooth version is 4.1, A2DP, apt-X. The GPS technology used is A-GPS, GLONASS. It supports NFC connection. It also contains FM radio with RDS. The browser is HTML 5.
The USB available is micro USB v2.0. It also comes with  proximity, accelerometer and compass sensors. The battery used is Non-removable Li-Po 2930 mAh battery having Stand-by up to 714h (2G) /up to 769h (3G), Talk time up to 14h 24 min (2G)/ Up to 12h 53 min (3G) and music play up to 60h. The colors available is Black, White and Mint. The main disadvantages of this phone are the glossy finish on a plastic back isn’t particularly subtle, especially at this size, the Wi-Fi lacks a/c support and the battery present is Non-removable battery.
