The Merchant Bankers Association of Nepal (MBAN) successfully conducted its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today at 3:30 PM in Naxal, Kathmandu. During the meeting, the following individuals were elected to the new executive committee:

Executive Committee Members:

  • Chairman: Ramendra Rayamajhi (NIC Asia Capital Limited)
  • Vice-Chairman: Manis Narayan Joshi (Nabil Investment Bank Limited)
  • General Secretary: Nirmal Bhattarai (Garima Capital Limited)
  • Treasurer: Shivanth B Pandé (NIMB Ace Capital Limited)

Elected Members:

  • Sandip Karki (Siddhartha Capital Limited)
  • Lekhnath Pokhrel (Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Limited)
  • Pushpa Sharma (Kumari Capital Limited)

The new leadership team, comprising representatives from several leading financial institutions, is committed to enhancing the role of merchant banking in Nepal. Their focus will be on improving capital market accessibility, promoting sustainable financial practices, and strengthening relationships with regulatory authorities.

The election process was marked by a positive and collaborative atmosphere, reflecting the association’s unity and shared vision for the future. The newly elected committee aims to further strengthen MBAN’s collaboration with stakeholders in the financial sector and regulatory bodies.
