The sports car, which was showcased on the first day of the show, was quickly removed from the exhibit on the second day after both imported units were sold.

According to Paramount Motors, the official distributor for MG in Nepal, Cyberster’s swift sell-out was a result of high demand and immediate customer interest. “It was challenging to manage the display at the auto show once the customers had completed their purchases. We are now directing those who wish to see the car to our showroom,” said a spokesperson from Paramount Motors. “Many others who visited the showroom after seeing the car at the auto show have also started booking.”

The MG Cyberster was priced at Rs 1 crore 67 lakh 99 thousand, and both units were sold at this premium rate. The high demand underscores the Cyberster’s appeal in the electric sports car market.

About the MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster is an electric hatchback sports car that has made waves globally for its impressive specifications and sleek design. It features a powerful rear-wheel-drive motor with a capacity of 250 kW, delivering exhilarating performance. The car is equipped with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides a substantial range of up to 508 kilometres on a single charge, enhancing its practicality for both daily driving and longer journeys.

Measuring 4535 mm in length, 1913 mm in width, and 1329 mm in height, the Cyberster sports a stylish and aerodynamic design. Its 2690 mm wheelbase ensures a stable and dynamic driving experience. The car also boasts 19-inch wheels, an electric hood, a 7-inch touchscreen display, and a premium sound system with 8 Bosch speakers, contributing to both luxury and performance.

The MG Cyberster’s convertible design adds a touch of elegance and excitement, making it a highly desirable model in the electric vehicle market. Its rapid sell-out at the NADA Auto Show highlights its strong market appeal and the growing interest in high-performance electric sports cars.

For those who missed the opportunity to see the Cyberster at the auto show, the vehicle is now available for viewing and booking at the MG showroom. The enthusiastic response at the auto show and subsequent showroom interest reflects a vibrant and expanding electric vehicle market in Nepal.
