MoCIT Centralized SMS Gateway

The Integrated SMS Gateway is a system designed to provide a centralized platform for government agencies. It sends text messages to its stakeholders.

In 2078, the Information Technology Department developed the ‘SMS Gateway,’ which is used by government agencies.

At the time of launching the SMS gateway, per SMS, the government agency charged Rs. The department said that after the implementation of this system, only 20 paisa will be charged per SMS.

Using the integrated ‘SMS Gateway’ operated by the Department of Information Technology. Government agencies can exchange effective communication (timely sending and receiving information about various programs, payments, and messages) with employees and the public at a minimal fee.

The statistics of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology do not mention detailed information about which 37 agencies used the service.
