Mountain Energy Nepal Proposes 21.05 Percent Dividend and Sets Book Closure Date

Mountain Energy Nepal Limited has declared a 21.05263 percent total dividend distribution for its shareholders for the fiscal year 2082/83.

It has also fixed the dates for its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and book closure.

The hydropower developer’s board of directors finalized the dividend distribution proposal during its meeting held on Ashwin 26, 2083.

Total Dividend Proposed: The board recommended a total dividend payout of 21.05263 percent based on the company’s existing paid-up capital.
Bonus Share Component: Includes a 20 percent bonus share distribution to increase the company’s paid-up capital base.
Cash Dividend Component: Includes a 1.05263 percent cash dividend allocated primarily for tax provision purposes regarding the bonus share distribution.
Annual General Meeting Date: The 13th Annual General Meeting to endorse the dividend proposal is scheduled for Kartik 20, 2083 (November 6, 2026).
Book Closure Date: Set for Kartik 10, 2083 (October 27, 2026).
Shareholder Eligibility: Investors holding or purchasing shares prior to Kartik 10, 2083, are eligible to receive the proposed dividend and attend the general meeting.
