Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited Partners With Nagarjun Municipality For Concessional Loans

Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited and Nagarjun Municipality have entered into a partnership agreement to provide collateral-free concessional financing to local entrepreneurs.
Muktinath Bank Concessional Loans
The initiative aims to boost agriculture, tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and women entrepreneurship within the municipality.
Qualified local entrepreneurs recommended by Nagarjun Municipality can access collateral-free loans of up to Rs. 200,000 depending on their business needs.
Under the municipality’s Concessional Interest Subsidy Procedure, 2080, eligible borrowers will receive a 100% interest subsidy.
This full subsidy renders the business financing effectively interest-free for local applicants.
Signing Representatives And Implementation Goals
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by representatives from both entities:
- Bank Representative: Tejal Bahadur Giri, Head of the Agriculture and Inclusive Investment Department at Muktinath Bikas Bank.
- Municipal Representative: Sushila Adhikari, Acting Mayor of Nagarjun Municipality.
