It began as the first bank in Nepal incepted by multinational investors on 12 July 1984.

The bank was incorporated to provide modern, international-standard financial services to businesses.

It is the nation’s first private sector bank, commencing its business in Nepal.

Recently, the bank has started a good initiative on the occasion of Ahar 15. Ashar 15 is also celebrated as “National Paddy Day”(Rashtriya Dhaan Diwas”).

The bank has launched Nabil Kisan Karza and Udhyami Karza through their new program called the “Nabil Sustainable Banking” Unit.

The main aim of this program is to extend financial access to the unbanked population, i.e., farmers.

This initiative of Nabil Bank will also be helpful to financially support small farmers and for the enhancement of their agro-business too.
