Branch Closures and Service Impact
Complete Damage at Timure Branch: The Timure branch office in Rasuwa district sustained severe physical destruction, forcing the bank to halt all local banking operations until alternative arrangements are established.
Infrastructure Disruptions: Widespread power outages and telecommunication network failures caused by the flooding have further impacted operational systems across nearby service points.
Temporary Closure of Four Branches: Banking operations at the Dhunche, Battar, Galchhi, and Gajuri branches have been temporarily closed as of Thursday August 27 2026 due to the loss of essential utilities.
Customer Guidance
Advisory to Account Holders: The bank has requested customers to note the operational halts across the affected branches until power, network connectivity, and physical infrastructure are restored.
