The bank stated that it has reaffirmed its commitment to trust, resilience, and preparedness through the redefined purpose.
Nabil Bank introduced its new vision as ‘To become Nepal’s most trusted and future-ready bank’. Similarly, the newly defined mission statement of the bank is: ‘Aspire to build a world-class Nepali bank, purpose-driven, rooted in trust, discipline, and compliance, powered by innovation, guided by strong governance and ESG responsibility, and committed to delivering customer-first excellence by creating future-ready leaders.’
Manoj Kumar Gyawali, Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said the redefinition comes at a time when the banking environment is undergoing rapid transformation.
He said, “To become a customer-centric, world-class Nepali bank, we have redefined the bank’s mission, goals, and values.” He further added, “The revised framework emphasizes service excellence as a defining differentiator, a digital-first approach to customer engagement, continuous investment in leadership development, and a culture of accountability and collaboration.”
As part of its redefinition, the bank has articulated its core values through Five Ts – Trust, Transparency, Talent, Technology, and Transformation.
According to the bank, these values are based on the Panchatattva philosophy, where earth represents trust, water represents transparency, fire represents talent, air represents technology, and sky represents change.
The bank believes that together these elements provide a balanced and integrated structure that guides the bank’s culture, decision-making processes, and long-term evolution.
Changing customer expectations, increasing focus on sustainability, and the growing role of digital technology and artificial intelligence made the bank realize the need for transformation.
The bank has also changed its tagline to ‘Together ahead always’. The main motive of changing the tagline is to encompass the need for quality banking services across all generations.
Through the revised framework, the bank emphasizes its commitment to resilience, governance discipline, and prudent growth.
Nabil Bank Limited is a pioneer bank in Nepal’s banking sector, committed to offering innovative and customer-focused financial solutions.
With a strong emphasis on digital transformation, Nabil Bank continues to redefine banking experiences for its valued customers. It has 268 branches and 318 ATM network all over the country.
