Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies Donates NPR 15 Million to Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund

The Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies has provided financial assistance collected through a sectoral relief campaign to support citizens affected by the Bhotekoshi floods and landslides in Rasuwa district.

Financial Contribution and Official Handover
Total Aid Collected: The association handed over NPR 15 million (NPR 1.5 crore) for deposit into the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
Handover Delegation: A delegation led by association President Dik Bahadur Khatri presented the relief funds to Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle through the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment.
Event Participation: Executive committee members, official advisers, and representatives of constituent bodies attended the handover ceremony.
Campaign Scope and Institutional Commitments
Sector Mobilization: Over 520 foreign employment agencies, business enterprises, branch offices, and foreign partner organizations contributed to the relief initiative.
Strategic Objective: The campaign was executed to uphold the social responsibility of the foreign employment sector and provide structured humanitarian aid.
Operational Transparency: The association committed to maintaining transparent records of all individual and corporate contributions, prioritizing institutional accountability and data sharing with contributing partners.
