Narayani Development Bank Limited has issued an official notice inviting eligible individuals, institutions, and corporate entities to apply for the purchase of 65,628 promoter shares.
Narayani Bank Public Sale Opened
The bank opened the share sale to the general public and qualified institutional investors after receiving no purchase applications from its existing promoter shareholders within the initial offer period.
Application Timeline and Requirements
Interested investors who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their formal applications within 15 days from the notice publication date of Bhadra 27, 2083.
Applicants must observe the following submission terms:
- Application Details: The submission must explicitly state the total quantity of promoter shares the applicant intends to buy, alongside the proposed purchase price per share.
- Regulatory Compliance: Applicants must submit supporting documentation demonstrating full eligibility according to the regulations, guidelines, and directives issued by Nepal Rastra Bank for promoter shareholding.
- Submission Venue: Physical applications along with all required documentation must be delivered during regular office working hours directly to the bank central office situated in Bharatpur 10, Chitwan.
Why the Shares are Offered to External Investors
Under regulatory provisions, financial institutions must first offer available promoter shares to existing promoter shareholders. Because no current promoters came forward to purchase these 65,628 shares during the allocated timeframe, Narayani Development Bank has made them accessible to external qualified individual and institutional investors.
Eligible investors meeting central bank criteria are advised to complete their applications, documentation, and pricing details before the stipulated 15-day deadline expires.
